We donated 3,000 diapers

Our little family's first charity drive.

When my son was 2 weeks old, this one brand of diaper irritated him - so instead of throwing them away, I made a 'free' post on FB marketplace.

It was only ~$15 worth of diapers.

Over the next few hours, I received more than 40 requests.

I was stunned at the responses.

Some women shared stories that pulled my heart-strings. Many were willing to drive across town during peak traffic. One woman had just delivered her baby and were messaging me from the NICU.

I could only help 1 young mother. But I wanted to help them all.

So for my birthday, I shared my story and asked if anyone wanted to help me do it again - Buy a few diapers, make a free post, make someone's day.

I guess it struck a chord, because a dozen friends/family members contributed to the cause.

With those funds, I was able to buy ~šŸ‘,šŸŽšŸŽšŸŽ šš¢ššš©šžš«š¬ in bulk.

The cause had grown bigger than expected, and I found an amazing church to partner with to help me distribute to the right people.

Earlier this month, my little family spent the day w/ the ministry and donated every one to families in need.

We are so happy with it all. Even happier that our son, Jack, had his first ever charity day (at 2-months-old!).

We hope days like this remind him (and us) that we have more power than we realize to make good (big) things happen.
